OGI Kenya

Winnie Nguyu works at the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA). She previously worked for African Institute for Capacity Development (AICAD) and at Kenya Forestry Research Institute (KEFRI). Winnie holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Communication Studies from the University of Nairobi and has published in journals in the field of knowledge management.

She is a member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Digital Libraries and Knowledge Management in India. She is also a Board Member of Pangani Girls High School (Nairobi) since 2009 and Siakago Girls High School in (Embu) since 2018.

At KIPPRA, Winnie oversees the management of the institute’s library services. She supports researchers in conducting relevant public policy research programs and young professionals in the utilization of e-resources. In her role, to ensure effective and efficient dissemination of the institute’s research outputs. She recently championed the development and rolling out of the first-ever Public Policy Repository in Kenya, an online reservoir of knowledge that is aimed at contributing toward evidence-based policymaking in the achievement of Kenya’s national development goals.
